Ed. obsession under $20: Primp out your keyboard
As an editor at GL, I spend a pretty decent amount of time
staring at my keyboard (and, hopefully, typing on it). Call me quirky, but it’s
because of this that my nails always have to be manicured—I find even one
little chip to be so distracting that I can’t continue writing until they’re
perfectly polished. (Needless to say, I have a few bottles of nail lacquer on
my desk).
So when I saw Keycals from Kidecals, I instantly recognized
the genius of a mani for your keyboard. You stare at those rows of letters for
hours! You look to them for answers when you’re desperately trying to form the
words to your article (or homework assignment) due the next day! So shouldn’t
they be a source of creativity and inspiration?

Dubbed as “super fun keyboard stickers to make your computer
awesome,” these decals do just that. From aqua ombre to purple chevron stripes
to leopard or a neon pony running across the keys, one set of these stickers
will primp out your keyboard in a matter of minutes.
I snagged the purple ombre, while fashion editor Jess gave
the floral pattern a try. On her black keyboard, the pattern really pops. It’s
safe to say I’m obsessed—until it’s time to give another style a try. And then,
the stickers peel off easily without any damage.
So does your keyboard deserve a mani? Which pattern will you
pick? Tell me in the comments or tweet @GLBeautyBabe.
