Ed. Obsession: NYFW Flash: Marc Jacobs' posh pajama party

It happened last night: the most talked-about show in all of New York Fashion Week. Described by some as a “glam rock pajama party,” Marc Jacobs’s F/W 2013 ready-to-wear show didn’t disappoint—it never does.

Marc’s models sported sequined and polished pajama-inspired suits, dresses and jumpers around the circular runway at his show last night, and I was totally obsessed. I waxed poetic about PJs pre-Christmas, and lo and behold, I got an adorable J.Crew printed pair under the tree. (Guess my hinting was a little more than subtle…thanks, Mom!).

With an influx of inspiration, I’m tempted to jazz up my jammies for my next big night out. While I might not toss on the full set (but imagine how comfy!), just think—a silky pajama top would look fabulously fashion-forward with a black BF blazer and skinnies, right? Or, a cute pair of printed shorts with a fave tee and denim jacket. If you’re in the mood for a major fashion dare, here are some cute sets to snag…
