How to save cash while prepping for prom


Sure, it’s easy to drop plenty of billz on your dream prom night. The hair, the makeup, the nails, we could go on…and that list doesn’t even include the sure-to-be-pricey perfect dress. But what’s essential to drop your hard-earned cash on, and what’s not? We’re demystifying the dos and don’ts of prom prep spending.

Hair

 
Save: The updo We’re all for the at-home updo. After all, unless you know your stylist really well, you’re taking a big risk by putting your tresses in someone else’s hands. Doing your own hair is totally doable, but requires tonsa practice. Find a few styles that you like, and spend a Saturday trying to practice them on yourself.
