5 life changing ways to use deodorant
Protect your feet
You know those horrible blisters you get when wearing a new pair of shoes? Next time you pick up a pair of fab flats, swipe some D.O. around the perimeter of the shoes to keep the hard edges from rubbing against your skin.
Keep razor bumps at bay
It might sound weird, but coating your legs or underarms with deodorant after you shave can help your skin heal and prevent razor burn and ingrown hairs.
Stop chafing
Tired of that super painful after-run rash? Apply deodorant to your upper thighs before exercising to keep them from rubbing together. (This is the oldest trick in the book for marathoners.)
Soothe bothersome bites
Turns out that the chemicals in D.O. can take the itch out of a pesky mosquito bite or healing bee sting. Throw some in your bag when going camping or heading to the beach.
Fight foot odor
This might seem a little obvious, but the same deodorant that keeps your underarms fresh can also prevent your feet from getting sweaty (and smelly). Just cover your soles with D.O. before you head to bed for twinkling toes the next day–but remember, if ya do it the morning of, your feet are bound to be pretty slippery.
Any of these D.O. secrets sound good to you? Do you have any unexpected uses for beauty products? Let us know in the comments!
