Hey girls,

We just completed stop number ten on our super-fun mall tour across America. You know what that means? Only TWO cities left!! Thanks so much to everyone who went to see GL Editor Karen (Detroit is her hometown!) and dropped by to the Lakeside Mall in Detroit this past Saturday. We had so much fun chatting, snapping pics (check out the one of Caitlin, who had a monster crush on Italian game boy Stermy) and meeting tons of you fabulous gals!

The Sprint Music Lounge had a steady crowd throughout the day, ready to test their texting skills and check out the latest in awesome Sprint Music handsets and accessories.

Everyone was eager to get their picture taken at the PAYjr Visa Buxx Photo Lab! A few were so excited to customize their own card we even overheard negotiations being made onsite involving the words “chores” and “clean rooms.” Can you believe it?!

The cozy SoBe Adobe was the “IT” place to taste the fan favorite “Lizard Lava” while voting for the favorite skateboard art created by teens across the country. Wonka’s Golden Ticket Grab and WONKAmobile were out in full force sampling the greatest candy in the world, while fans from over an hour away made the trek to meet and challenge talented gamer Stermy in his final Scene appearance.

The folks at WKQI 95.5 FM, Detroit’s hit music station, were also on hand, showing their support for The Scene and listeners alike.

Another fun-filled event has come and gone, and as we’re coming towards the final stretch we’re finding ourselves a tad teary-eyed. Then again, we’re super excited because it’s finally time to bring The Scene back to our hometown…Baltimore, baby!

Weren’t able to catch us in Detroit? Don’t worry! We’ll be at the White Marsh Mall in Baltimore, MD THIS Saturday, September 22, and we want YOU there! Baltimore’s GL’s home base so come on Charm City girls, we want this to be the biggest event of the tour! REPRESENT!!!! All your favorite GL editors are gonna be there!
