SOUND OFF: You Wrote It

DANDELIONS
By: Livi

She tiptoes ever carefully
Across the lawn of life
Rests on the dandelions
Blowing wishes through my hair
Her tiny hand finds kisses in the breeze
To sprinkle on my head
Carefully catching simple mistakes
And hiding them in a pocket
Saving rosy cheeks for later
In the scratchy autumn leaves
Counting freckles on my face
To dot my nose with a smile
And my heart cries.
