"What They Don't Tell You" - An original poem
Hey babes! GL reader Alexia H. tells us she's not a writer, but the poem she sent in definitely tells another story. Take a peek and tell us what you think in the comments.
"What They Don't Tell You"
What they don't tell you
Is that you don't live forever.
They lead you to believe
That it's all perfect,
That everything's peachy
Until it comes crumbling down.
What they don't tell you
Is that you can save a life,
By telling someone that
All they need to do is stay strong.
What they don't tell you
Is that some of the most
Inspirational people,
Are the ones you've never met.
What they don't tell you
Is that everyone has scars,
Just not everyone wears them
On the outside.
What they don't tell you
Is that you are perfect
You just don't see it yet.
What they do tell you
Is that you are just a kid
That you can't do anything,
But really you are one of the most amazing people in the world.
