Hands in the air

You know the answer to every question your teacher asks, even if you don’t raise your hand right away. The more questions you put your mind to, the better position you’ll be in come test time.

Figure it out

When you get a Q wrong, you can figure out on your own where you made a mistake and correct it to get the right answer. Remember the mistakes you’ve made in the past and endeavor to avoid them in the future.

Best guess

Even if you don’t know the right answer, you can eliminate the wrong ones through context. Three cheers for process of elimination! The next time you come across multiple choice questions for homework, take the time to explain to yourself why the wrong answers are wrong instead of simply picking out the correct one.

Teacher time

You have an easy time helping your classmates understand the theories you’re learning in class right now, and the more you teach, the better you understand it yourself.

Homework hero

You find your homework not hard, not easy, but challenging. Hard, and you won’t know the answers come test time—or will run out of time figuring them out. Easy, and you will rush through the problems and make careless mistakes. Challenging, you can find the answer with a little thought.

Psych time

You’re not nervous when you think about the test. Nerves can paralyze your brain, making it hard to recall information you knew minutes before. Channel your nervous energy into “I can do this!” statements.
