Solve my sleep sitch
I get nine hours of sleep at night, and I’m still extremely tired the next day. My mom says I’m just getting over a cold, but I never had one!
Most people should get between nine and 10 hours of sleep a night, says Dr. Donna Arand, clinical director of Kettering Sleep Disorders Center in Dayton, Ohio. But some need more. To see if you’re suffering from sleep deprivation, “Try getting an extra hour of sleep every night for at least two weeks. If that helps, then the problem was sleep loss,” advises Dr. Arand. “If not, see your doctor. If your doc doesn’t find anything wrong, then see a sleep specialist.”
