We Tried It: Wii Fit
Being the obsessive Wii player that I am (a Wii bowling extraordinaire to be exact), I knew that I HAD to have the new Wii Fit when it made its debut. What’s better than knowing that you’re working out AND playing video games at the same time? Answer: obvi, nothing.
The Wii Fit includes more than forty different exercises that you can engage in and allows you to keep track of your health each time you use it. You can even set goals for yourself regarding time and weight and the crazy device actually tracks them for you (and even gives you advice, which is always super helpful!) All it took was one step on the Wii Balance Board and I was totally hooked. Between different balancing techniques, aerobics, strength training and yoga, there are plenty of options to keep me from getting bored. Finally, I don’t have to drag my lazy self to the gym (just to the living room).
If you don’t have a Wii already, the whole set-up is a hefty price tag. Consider saving your babysitting bucks.
