How to take that Pinterest routine IRL
We always feel so proud and motivated when we pin workouts to our fitspo Pinterest boards, but we know deep inside that it’s not likely we’ll actually do any of them. Either we forget that they’re there or we just remember that we’d rather try out the cupcake and taco recipes instead. However, it is possible to take the workouts from Pinterest to reality—especially with the help of these tips.
1. Ask a friend to join you.
It’s always easier to go through with our goals if there’s someone there to keep us accountable. Plus, there’s a good chance there are also some fitness pins she’s been wanting to try, too!
2. Find the perfect pin.
If you’re still a workout beginner, pick a routine that’s not going to be too overwhelming. Start off with one that you think you’ll both enjoy and can find success with.
3. Try a new pin every week.
If you’ve been pinning for awhile, chances are you’ve racked up quite a stack; try out one new workout a week to mix it up, keep things exciting and find one that really works for you.
4. Plan a reward.
There’s lots on Pinterest that you want to try besides fitness, so give yourself a reward for every time you complete a new Pinterest workout—like getting to try a recipe or craft pin!
5. Think positive.
f you pinned it, it was obviously interesting to you at some point, and there was a reason you took time to add it to your board. Remember how motivated you felt adding it? Get pumped up to try something new!
