You love “Dancing With the Stars.” But have you ever thought about learning the crazy cool dances you see on the show?
My roommate and I recently completed a beginner’s ballroom dancing class at our school’s fitness center and it was a blast! We learned all the basics: foxtrot, salsa, merengue, swing, tango, and of course, the cha cha—all for a super sweet low price.
Ballroom dancing is a great way to get in shape while having fun. Taking classes gives you a chance to meet other awesome people looking to have a good time, too! And don’t worry—you don’t even need a partner!
A lot of local gyms offer all kinds of dancing for members and non-members, too, like ballroom dancing and even belly dancing. So grab those dancing shoes and round up your girls. Who knows? Maybe you’ll be dancing with the stars someday!
