Feel good Friday: Teen XC runner helps competitor cross the finish line
She was competing in a cross-country race when she noticed another competitor limping along, just trying to make it across the finish line. That other girl, Maryn Valliancourt, had sprained her ankle earlier in the race, but was determined to finish. And so Kayla decided to help. She gave Maryn her arm so the girl could walk, and let her cross the finish line first.
