It was parent's day at school and my English teacher chose me to recite a poem to all of the parents and students at my school. My best friend thought it would be funny to tape a "kick me" sign to my back so when I walked down to the stage, everyone started laughing and pointing! To make things worse, my crush's mom works at the school and was behind me on the stage. She told me that I shouldn't be embarrassed and at least I didn't get my period. The entire school heard her! Now whenever I get a question wrong in school or don’t get a 100% on a test, people say, "at least you didn’t get your period!"
