Make the perfect DIY desk station

The first few weeks at school are always super hectic, trying to keep track and stay organized with your schedule. That means it's *extra* important to have your desk at home as nice and tidy as possible. Stuffing your drawers with papers and throwing your pens and pencils into an overflowing holder won't lead to a successful year. Here's a few easy and cool ways to make your desk clutter-free so you can start your homework everyday with a clear mind.

Make your own supply caddy

A tray with containers, files and small bowls will make your supplies easier to find. It will also give you a clear space to do homework so you can focus better on what needs to be done.

Hang up book/folder files

Hanging up these bad boys will help with the piles of books and folders you have laying around on the floor of your room. Mark each file with the names of your different classes so that all the books have their own place to go.

Try a DIY dry erase board

A cute dry erase board to jot down quick thoughts and "to-do" items is the perfect way to remember something important.

Create a charging station

Keep all your chargers in one place with this cute shoe box charging station. Take a power strip and place it in the box, followed by your chargers and close the lid.

Craft a letter peg board

Is your supply caddy getting a little full? This peg board will make room for the extra things that just don't have a home whether it's the first place ribbon from a swim meet, or maybe some colored tapes that you don't use all the time.

Stay on track with a DIY ombre desk calendar

This beautiful calendar is small and space-saving. Keep it up front so you can count down the days to break.
