Meet us at midnight for the *best* Taylor Swift listening party ever. Did someone say themed snacks? No? Oh, that must have been us. Blend on some blue glittery eyeshadow and button up your cardigan, bb, because we've got a party to plan. We'll give you some no-fail tips for how to throw a show-stopping Midnights listening party. 

Invitations

The vibe of this party is definitely a cozy night in, so the invite vibe should match. Two of our fave options are an Evite or a Canva graphic. For the Evite, go to evite.com and create an account, then personalize your invitation of choice! You can send the link to your besties via text or email, where they'll be able to RSVP and get hyped for Oct. 21. If you're more of a Canva girlie, hop on the canva.com website and design a graphic to your heart's content. Download an image of your creation and send it to the GC—your besties are about to be blown away by your aesthetic design skills.

Decor

This may be a low-key night in, but that doesn't mean you have to skimp on the streamers! Now is the time to take tips from Tay's 32nd birthday and go all out with the decorations. We're talking disco balls (mirrorballs?) everywhere, sparkly streamers, fairy lights and maybe even some glow-in- -the-dark stars. We know Blondie is in her star era (see her blue and silver Moschino mini-dress), and you can be too, babe.

Food

What's a party without snacks? For our Midnights listening party, we're leaning into the idea of midnight snacks...namely, junk food. Here are some of our picks:

+ Red Vines (inspired by Red (Taylor's Version))
+ Brownies (here's an article teeming with brownie inspo!)
+ Cowboy (like me) caviar (get the recipe here)
+ Lavender lemon[haze] (...OK, it's lemonade.)
+ Chicken tenders (rumor has it they're Tay's fave!)
+ Cinnamon rolls (oost 'em on insta just like Taylor did)

Outfits

Will your party fit give cozy or classy vibes? Who says you have to pick one! Slip into your fave silk PJ set, or channel Tay and the Haim sisters in their matching onesies (nothing says "chic" like a unicorn onesie). Or, if you want to take it up a notch, ask everyone to dress like their fave T. Swift album. Throw on some cowgirl boots for Fearless (TV), a leather jacket for reputation or a black turtleneck and ruby lip for Red (TV).

The main event, obvi, is listening to Midnights. If your pals get there early, though, you might want some backup games to pass the time. We love a good round of T. Swift Trivia! Gather your fave facts on a Kahoot! or cute printout and compete with the girls to see who's the ultimate Swiftie.
