Your guide to the best PowerPoint night with your squad

If you've ever been on TikTok, you've probably seen the PowerPoint night trend. Ever wondered how to host one yourself? We've got *all* the deets below.

Step 1: Pick your squad

PowerPoint nights are the *perf* way to meet up, no matter how big or how small your crew might be. Want to have a close-knit group of BFFs over? Sounds good. How about the girls on your volleyball team? Perfect!

Whether you're looking to throw an energized party-in-full-swing or a simple cozy evening to kick back and giggle at inside jokes, get ready for a fun night in.

Step 2: Make your slides

What's a PowerPoint night without PowerPoints? Depending on the vibe that you're going for, you can whip up anything from a 20-slide analysis in MLA format to a neon blue Comic Sans presentation.

We recommend using Google Slides (you can find the *cutest* templates on Slidesgo!) or Canva.

Step 3: Choose a theme

Weirdly specific but hilarious themes are the name of the game. Here are some of our faves to get you started:

How each friend would lose (or win!) the Hunger Games

Your friends as random pictures from your camera roll

Who you'd cast in a live-action Tangled

Ranking *all* of the Girl Scout cookies

Step 4: Don't forget the snacks!

Our go-to snacks include candy (you can never go wrong with a huge bag of KitKats!), popcorn to munch on as your bestie talks about her Bachelorette bracket, and chips and salsa (duh).

Or, if you want to go all-out and DIY, check out this recipe for the *yummiest* homemade brownies you'll ever make.
