"This guy just asked me out and I said yes, even though I don't know him that well. Now all his friends are telling me that he never stops talking about me and that he loves me. The problem is I like him, but not as much as he likes me. I want to stay with him though. Help!"

Before you do anything else, you should ask yourself why you like this guy. If the answer to that question is anything along the lines of “I'm happy when I'm with him,” then there is no reason for you to feel bad. You don’t have to go immediately gaga over a guy to date him. Then again, if you're with him just to have a boyfriend, that probably isn't the best use of your time—or his.

Since you said that you both don’t know each other that well yet, take some time to hang out with this guy and get to know him. Maybe you’ll grow to like him just as much as he likes you. And if you don't, you'll find another guy who does interest you.

You should also make it clear that you want to take your relationship slowly so that you can develop your feelings for him. Make sure you are not leading him on by allowing him to believe that you are as crazy about him as he is about you.
