Me, Just Different by Stephanie Morrill

Skylar Hoyt seems to have all the qualities of the ideal high school girl: she has looks, popularity and a hot boyfriend. Sounds perfect, right? And everything is until Skylar has a terrifying experience at a party that makes her want to start fresh.

As Skylar tries to discover her true identity, other parts of her life begin to split at the seams. From being sucked into keeping her sister’s secrets and handling friendship feuds to dealing with her constantly fighting parents and a relationship with a boy she’s not so crazy about, Skylar has to find a way to cope.

Amidst all of the chaos, Skylar is forced to probe the true intentions of her so-called friends and boyfriend, begging the question: who will be standing with her through the fog and when it clears?

This book is a great read for girls who think they are alone in the quest for self-discovery.
