Hail We The Kings
These boys sure know how to rock!
Hailing from Bradenton, Florida, We The Kings aren’t newbies to the music scene. After the release of their self-titled debut album back in 2007, these guys have been climbin’ the charts, making appearances left and right. With the release of their second album, Smile Kid, out tomorrow, Dec. 8, it’s about time you better acquaint yourself with this awesome band.
Named after King’s Middle School, where they first started making music together, this pop-rock quartet is composed of Travis Clark (lead vocals, guitar), Hunter Thomsen (guitar, backing vocals), Drew Thomsen (bass), and Danny Duncan (drums). The band chose the title, Smile Kid, for their new release because it sums up their attitude of staying upbeat and remembering to smile. Produced by the same guys who worked with Gym Class Heroes and Cobra Starship, the new album includes two hit singles, “She Takes Me High” and “Heaven Can Wait.” With catchy beats and extreme energy, we admit, the songs are very infectious!
We The Kings try to stay super connected to their fans, and keep themselves totally accessible! With their websites, blogs and hilarious online mini-sitcom, you can really get to know the gang. Be sure to head over to We The Kings Myspace page to preview their latest jams before buying their latest album.
Which track is your favorite on the new CD? Blog about it, babes.
