Must List

*These* are the it-girls of pop you should pay attention to this year

We love celebrating great girls doing great things, and the über-talented women of pop are *no* exception. These girls are currently rising to the top of everyone’s music must lists and are poised to join the ranks of current pop leaders like Selena Gomez, Halsey and Katy Perry with their catchy tunes and fearless personalities.

Below, discover the five powerful pop girls who are about to take over your playlist and how you can see them perform your fave songs up-close and personal!

Dua Lipa

We raved about Dua when we filled you in on the artists that are destined for great things this year. Just two months into 2017, Dua continues to dominate the charts with her hit single "Be the One" and her new collab with Martin Garrix, "Scared to be Lonely." Plus, we have to send the 21-year-old a *major* congrats for just being named Best Newcomer at the NME Awards! Although the release of her debut self-titled album has been pushed to June, she will be previewing the new music for her fans in person when she heads out on tour later this month.

Bebe Rexha

Brooklyn-based babe Bebe Rexha is the mastermind behind *so* many of our favorite hits. You have her to thank for last year’s summer smashes "No Broken Hearts" with Nicki Minaj and "In the Name of Love" with Martin Garrix. Plus, the 27-year-old has co-writing credits with artists like Tinashe and Nick Jonas on her extensive repertoire. To kick off Bebe’s 2017 takeover, she recently dropped the first part of her debut album, All Your Fault, which includes her catchy single, "I Got You." Now, in celebration, Bebe is heading out on the road for a 20-date North American tour kicking off March 1 in Dallas. She's bringing along trumpeter Spencer Ludwig and 16-year-old cutie Daniel Skye to round out the can’t-miss show!

Hayley Kiyoko

You may remember Hayley as the *insanely* talented musician Stella from the 2011 DCOM Lemonade Mouth, but did you know she has been releasing her own, original music since 2013? It’s true! Now 25, she released her debut solo EP, A Belle to Remember, four years ago, following it up with This Side of Paradise in 2015. The catalyst to Hayley’s newfound stardom, though, is a track off that EP, "Girls Like Girls." It challenges the mainstream narrative of heterosexual love with a story of a girl who wants to be with her guy friend’s girlfriend. We’re all about powerful female singers who aren’t afraid to promote loving who you love, regardless of gender. Book a night off with your girls to see Hayley live on her upcoming headlining tour in support of her just-released EP, Citrine.

Zara Larsson

This Swedish star has been keeping us grooving to her hits like "Never Forget You" and "Ain’t My Fault." Each song has been building up to the release of a full body of work—her debut album, So Good—that the 18-year-old will finally bless us with in March. We can’t wait to hear what she has been working on! You can catch Zara opening for British electro-pop group Clean Bandit in a city near you this spring.

Kiiara

Kiiara struck gold with her breakout single, "Gold," which has been played over 354 million times on Spotify since its release last year. Her latest single is "Heavy," an emotionally-driven song with the band Linkin Park that is already an early contender for the hottest collab of the year. The 21-year-old will open for The Chainsmokers on their massive arena tour this spring and—with a combo like this—every show is guaranteed to be lit.
