Must List

Hot Prom tunes

You’ll want to “party like it’s not your birthday” when ya give your ears a listen to the brand new Prom soundtrack. This upbeat release (which hit stores yesterday) features top artists like Neon Trees and Travie McCoy.

The already-released single “Not Your Birthday” from the cuties of Allstar Weekend is one we can’t stop singing or dancing to. And you’re sure to fall in love with the sweet and soft song from Nolan Sotillo, who plays Lucas in the movie, called “We Could Be Anything.”

The album is loaded with 15 tracks that have just the right beat to get you in that “end of school year’ kind of mood. “Prettiest Thing” by Oh Darling and “Almost There” by Opus Orange featuring Lauren Hillman are just two of the tunes you’ll surely want stuck in your head while strolling through the park on a warm spring afternoon. And, as expected, Simple Plan gives us a fast-paced jam that will have ya bouncing in your seat.

It may only be April, but so far this is def the soundtrack you’ll want to get your hands on for celebrating the final weeks of class. Prom debuts in theaters this Friday, April 29, but you can get a peek at what the excitement’s all about by listening to these jams.

Pick up your own copy and let us know your thoughts.
