What's all The Hub about?
Launching today, Oct. 10, a brand new channel called The Hub will be reaching 60 million U.S. households on what is now the Discovery Kids channel. Yep, that’s right, chicas. Hasbro, Inc. and Discovery are joining forces to create a new and engaging channel for young viewers everywhere!
From animated comedies, live-action series, movies, special programs and game shows, The Hub is going to feature a variety of new shows. What’s even cooler is that you can continue the interactive adventure online at www.hubworld.com.
While most of us probably still treasure our childhood faves like My Little Pony and Strawberry Shortcake, The Hub has other shows in addition to these to keep ya entertained. The iconic CLUE board game is a Hub original—a 30-minute live-action program with a cast working together to uncover clues and solve mysteries.
Family time is always important, so get the crew together and watch Family Game Night and Family Movie Night, where the network selects popular and entertaining films for the entire household to enjoy.
For a more thrilling adventure, tune in for our favorite page-turning horror books in a live-action series of R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour. For those of you girls who love animals, catch Meerkat Manor, a documentary that tells the story of Whiskers, one of many meerkats living in the Kalahari Desert.
Tune in this Sunday to The Hub to discover a new world of entertainment! The cable and satellite television network will be launching on what is now your Discovery Kids channel. Then come back and let us know your thoughts.
Will you be checking out The Hub? Blog about it, babes.
