Feel Good Friday: This little boy's apology note will make your day
When you're a little kid, it can be pretty intimidating to accidentally mess up something that isn't yours, especially when people will know it was you. For one little boy, that fear became a reality when he accidentally ripped a page in a comic book he'd borrowed from his local library.
Only, when Jackson, a little boy from Toronto, Canada, realized he'd torn the book, he didn't hide the book under his bed or leave it in the library drop box and just hope no one noticed, he fessed write up in the most adorable apology note we've ever seen.
In blue marker, Jackson had written, "I am sorry that a page ripped when it fell out of my bunk when I fell asleep reading. It won't happen again. I'm sorry. From Jackson."
But instead of being mad, the librarians who found the note loved it, even sharing it on their Facebook page with a very special message.
Found in the book drop @ Main Street branch :) Here's to many more nights falling asleep with a good book, Jackson!

Librarian Eila McLeish even told CBC News, "I was really touched by it.... We get ripped books all the time. For this little one to apologize, we thought it was very, very sweet."
We agree the note is super cute, and we're glad the Toronto Public Library staff was so understanding. We hope Jackson and the library share many more adventures going forward, even if it means a page or two gets torn along the way.
Have you ever had to confess to breaking something that wasn't yours? How did you apologize?
