Feel Good Friday: High school assembly gets the best guest speaker ever

 
We love a good assembly. If you’re lucky, the speaker will leave you inspired or rolling in stitches. And even if the speaker is a bore, you get a solid break from drilling chem notes into your head. Win-win, right? But no speaker could ever top the surprise Caleb Lussier got this past week. 

The high school sophomore attended a Junior ROTC assembly featuring a so-called “classified speaker.” Turns out, it was his father, who had just returned from a five-month deployment in Afghanistan. Their reunion is nothing short of aww-inducing. Watch it here…

Every solider deserves a warm welcome home. And since we have a big soft spot for animal friends, here’s another soldier being greeted by his dog:
