EXCLUSIVE! Annaka Fourneret spills on The Really Loud House and her best confidence advice

Ever since it premiered on Nickelodeon on Nov. 3, we can't stop obsessing over The Really Loud House (yep, that's the live-action version of the v. beloved animated series) and its absolutely amazing cast. We sat down with Annaka Fourneret, otherwise known as fifth oldest Loud sister Lynn Loud, to hear *all* the BTS set secrets from the show plus her can't-miss tips on staying confident.

On playing Lynn Loud:

Annaka: "She's fearless, aggressive—but also loyal and sweet deep down. We're both loyal friends, both athletes, both enthusiastic. But I'm a lot girlier than she is."

On the other Loud sister she'd most want to be:

Annaka: "Probably a mixture between Lisa and Luna! I've always been super interested in math and science. When I was younger I wanted to be a marine biologist or a paleoanthropologist. For Luna, I'd say I dress the most like her IRL, and my parents are super into indie rock so I grew up with a lot of that influence."

On what it was like on set of The Really Loud House

Annaka: "I'm an only child so being surrounded by so many 'siblings' of different ages was a big change for me. It was really fun. We had a reallly big bonding moment toward the beginning of filming. We lost power because of a lightning storm and one of our makeup artists had one of those light spheres on a string that you can dance with. We all took turns doing that and everyone jumped in and people were playing music and dancing and eating snacks. It actually felt like a family."

On her dream role:

Annaka: "I'd want to be in an A24 horror film, which sounds really dark and obviously different from Nickelodeon, but it'd be so cool to be in a psychological thriller. And anything that Anya Taylor-Joy has done because she's my favorite person ever. I'd like to be the next Anya Taylor-Joy."

On her favorite family tradition:

Annaka: "On Christmas Eve we always eat lasagna and garlic bread! And on my birthday I eat ice cream for breakfast."

On her go-to gift to give:

Annaka: "Glossier! I'm a big fan myself and I feel like all my friends like something from that store. And they always drop something new close to my friends' birthdays so it just works out."

On her (tbh, super cool) hobbies:

Annaka: "I love surfing—I do a lot of surfing over the summer. I rock climb and zipline with my dad. I ski a lot, both downhill and cross-country. Then, honestly, a lot of homework and just playing with my cat around the house."

On her best advice:

Annaka: "Nobody is watching. Nobody cares. I feel like people are always worried about the way they're walking or the way they're eating or the way they look in public but the truth is that nobody's looking at you. If you're going out and you're like, 'Oh, I don't know if I should bring a jacket,' it's cooler to be warm than to be standing there shivering. Nobody's going to say, 'Why is that girl carrying a jacket?' Just try not to be self-conscious. Believe in yourself and other people will see that you're confident and believe it, too."
