Fifth Harmony and The Vamps are feuding

 

Fifth Harmony and The Vamps were super close while both bands were touring with Austin Mahone, but since James McVey answered a reporter's question about Lauren Jauregui the other day, things have been a little heated. 

After Bradley Simpson was asked about his rumored romance with 5H's Lauren, his bandmates Tristan Evans and James stepped in to save him from the uncomfortable question, but what they said only made matters worse. The boys tried to make a joke of the situation, with Tristan saying, "I was April to December," and James adding, "We've all had a bit of a go." The boys laughed, and though James added, "I'm joking, we're just friends with them all," the damage was done.

After Fifth Harmony heard about the interview, the girls took to Twitter to protect their friend's rep and express their annoyance with the boys.

 

 

 

Once James saw how people were taking his joke, he tried to explain.

 

 

Though James apologized, a lot of people are still pretty upset over his original comment.
