As soon as Rydel strolled through our doors, she went straight to the fashion closet (we mean, can you blame her?). With tons of super cute clothes, shoes and jewelry to choose from, Rydel had a blast flipping through the racks while playing fashion editor, putting together amazing outfits. Her fave? A black leather skater skirt paired with a tee and fringed heels, all topped off with the cutest cotton candy pink faux fur jacket.

Styling clothes can really work up an appetite, so we took Rydel to our favorite hotspot The Best of Luck Candy for some sweet treats. Once we got there, Rydel sat down with the GL crew and some lucky fans to answer a few Twitter Qs while snacking on her Taharka Brothers Golden Graham and Pistachio ice cream combo.

This is where things got really interesting. One of our fave questions of the day was from @Rockliffsgirl who asked, “@girlslifemag @rydelR5 Who is your celebrity crush at the moment?” After some deliberation, she promptly answered “Ratliff!” (as in bandmate Ellington Ratliff), which sent hundreds of fangirls into a frenzy. R5ers, did you just read that?! Did Rydel just spill that Rydellington is a reality?! 

The answer definitely threw us into something bigger than a sugar rush! When it was time to pick out some candy, Rydel was sure to grab extra of the boys’ favorite snack. We love that this family sticks together no matter what—even if it means that Rydel has to sacrifice her beloved sour gummies.

We were having so much fun chatting and snacking but all too quickly Rydel had to get ready for the R5 show. On our way back, we (literally) ran into some major R5 fans who were so shocked to see their fave celeb on the street that they started running at us from all directions. Just another day in the life of Rydel, who greeted them all with open arms and a huge smile.

We already knew the R5 fam was awesome, but after spending an afternoon one-on-one with Rydel, we really got to see how cool of a person this girl is. Thanks for hanging out with us, Rydel! Can’t wait to do it again soon.
