If there's one thing we've learned from TikTok, it’s that sneakers are superior to any other shoe. From revamping old Air Force 1’s with colorful paint to parody DIY Golden Goose—sneakers are *constantly* being talked about. Sneakers go perfectly with any outfit, so naturally, we’re here to help pick out the trends you need in your closet.

Classic white sneaker   

Yes, sneakers go with everything. But, white sneakers *really* go with everything. Almost every brand has its own white option and the options are endless. Keds, Vans and Nike Air Force 1's are incredibly popular right now.

Sporty streetwear sneaker

This wouldn’t be a 2021 sneaker post without including some Air Jordan 1’s for those looking to splurge on a pair of shoes. These sporty sneakers come in a plethora of colorways but aren’t intended for major activity since creasing them is considered a crime. Another sporty—wayyy cheaper—option is Adidas Superstars. Extremely comfortable and also comes in so many color options. 

Platform sneaker 

All my short girls, this is specifically a style you need. Trendy and giving you some extra inches, what else could be better? Superga makes an amazing pair that can be styled with a pair of denim shorts or even a mini dress. For a more affordable option, check out these ones from Asos.

High top sneaker

Converse are a classic shoe. They’ve been around forever, recently coming out with platform styles. And, if you buy a pair that are platform and high top you're accomplishing two trends in one. Is this what they mean when they say kill two birds with one stone?

Chunky sole sneaker

Much like platform sneakers, chunky soles add on some height to your look. Pair with denim shorts during warm weather or a pair of leggings and a sweatshirt until then and you'll look effortlessly trendy. The Fila Disruptor is the perfect chunky sole sneaker or opt for a less common option like these from Princess Polly.

Running sneaker

No one ever said working out couldn't also be the time to make a fashion statement. Nothing goes better with a matching workout set than a pair of trendy athletic sneakers. Nike is guaranteed to be a great sneaker. But try out this option from Reebok for a new vibe.
