You can work for a retail store or a fashion brand at the corporate level. Corporate merchandisers often meet with designers and product developers to guarantee the design cycle is running its correct course.

If you have an eye for originality...

A fashion stylist

A stylist, well, styles! She is resposible for creating outfits that match the client's body type, style, and budget. When working for a client, it's always important to listen to the person's desires so they can feel totally comfortable. If a stylist works for a brand, she often creates outfits for photoshoots to show the consumers how a certain piece can be styled.

If you love planning parties...

A public relations specialist

If you pick up on trends *really* fast...

A retail buyer

A store's retail buyer goes out and simply chooses the merchandise that the consumers will get to buy. She has to take the current market demands, style trends, price, quality, and customer's shopping habits into consideration when buying. A retail buyer has the big responsibility of guaranteeing the store's stock stays competitive to other stores and relevant to their consumer's interests.

If you're a savvy writer...

A fashion editor

If you've ever dreamed of working on the fashion-side of a magazine (hello, Vogue), this is your way to go.
