Love these looks: 2020 VMA Awards

via GIPHY

Last night's MTV Video Music Awards were a must-watch, and not just because of rave-worthy performances by Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, and Doja Cat. The star-studded red carpet might not have allowed spectators, but that didn't stop the celeb attendees from serving major looks. ICYMI, we've rounded up some of our fave styles from the big night. Scroll on to see the *amaze* looks.

Keke Palmer

Hosting the big night is no small task, but Keke Palmer took the challenge in stride and served not one, not two, but *four* incredible looks over the course of the night. If the VMAs gave out a best-dressed award, we think her gorge fringe dress would have it on lock.

Sofia Carson

The Descendants and Feel the Beat star set social media ablaze with her fiery red dress, made by Italian designer Giambattista Valli. Valli also designed Ariana Grande's fluffy tulle Grammy dress. We heart how the classic over-the-shoulder gown is elevated by a bold ruffle.

Joey King

You might know her as down-to-earth Elle from The Kissing Booth, but Joey King was anything but ordinary in her rosy green Versace outfit. The starlet completed her look with an iconic red lip and matching nail polish. #makeupgoals

Ariana Grande & Lady Gaga

The Sweetener songstress wowed with her performance of "Rain On Me" alongside the legendary Lady Gaga, but the duo deserves equal applause for their color-coordinated ensemble. With matching masks, purple tops, and eye glitter for days, the two caught everyone's attention.

Snaps of her stay-at-home look showed Ariana trading in her classic ponytail for pigtails—prepare to see the hairstyle all over your IG feed.

Chloe x Halle

Sisters Chloe and Halle Bailey performed "Ungodly Hour", a song from their new album of the same name, and looked spectacular doing it. Their futuristic bodysuits and blinged-out hair accessories are the distraction from 2020 that we need.

Jaden Smith

The actor kept things casual with a colorful pastel sweater and a graphic tee tucked into jeans. It might not have been the fanciest look, but it brought a playful vibe to the event.

Lady Gaga (again)

Lady G's performance outfit was not the only ensemble making headlines. The star, who took home 5 awards at the end of the night, took to the red carpet in a shiny chrome dress and a custom face shield.
