Love these looks: 2019 ARDY Awards
Awards shows are known for being a showcase for the hottest looks in fashion. This year, Radio Disney gave its annual awards show a new twist by rebranding as the ARDYs: A Radio Disney Music Celebration.
This was the first time the LA-based event was aired live, so stars certainly dressed to impress and showed off their best fashion styles this year.
Here are some of the best looks:
Sofia Carson
As the host of this event, Descendants star Sofia Carson stepped her best foot forward in this chic black outfit, bringing a new meaning to “little black dress.”
BTS
Winning the Global Phenom award, this K-pop group from Seoul, South Korea truly fits the definition of a global phenomenon, with their music spreading all over the world. Although they did not attend the event, they made a video answering fan questions.
Olivia Holt
Disney XD’s Kickin’ It star Olivia stunned in a mint green smokey eye to match her beautiful mint green dress with a cutout, coming together and giving us fun summer vibes.
Cameron Boyce and Booboo Stewart
Sofia Carson’s Descendants co-stars looked spiffy when they appeared together on the ARDYs red carpet. Cameron rocked the trench coat look paired with funky pants with a stripe down the side and Booboo showed off his luscious locks along with a trendy pair of leather pants.
Jayden Bartels
Dancer and actress Jayden showed us an amazing pop of color with this multicolored sequined dress, giving us real retro vibes.
Jenna Raine
Disney and YouTube star and singer Jenna channeled the 80s with this fun outfit with a bright pink jacket, crop top, funky jeans and barrettes. Love it!
Madison Beer
This star shined in a strapless metallic dress paired with big hoops and her hair slicked back in a bun for a cool, glamorous look.
Meg Donnelly
Zombies star Meg Donnelly looked hot in hot pink with blue accessories and a rainbow pin in her hair. She also performed her new single “With U” with Fetty Wap.
Fetty Wap
Fetty kept it casual in a sweatshirt and jeans and performed with Meg. We love the casual, comfy vibe!
Avril Lavigne and Steve Aoki
These two music icons were fashion icons at the ARDYs! Punk rockstar Avril showed off her girly side with a flowy gown and lots of bling. Steve brought tie-dye back with his dip dyed jean jacket and graffiti pants as he DJed the whole event.
Navia Robinson
Raven’s Home actress Navia showed us that green is SO her color in this shimmery green dress. Paired with sparkly earrings, she is giving off major spring and summer vibes.
BB-8
Yeah, that’s right. BB-8 from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker made an appearance at the ARDYs and, obviously, stole the show.
