How To: Rock colored jeans for school

Time to kick those blues to the curb (well, for a second anyway). We're tickled pink to see this season's jean selection look like a crayon box. Take the plunge and rainbow-ify your jeans with these four easy outfit ideas.

Neutral, naturally

To start off, your safest bet is a good ol' reliable neutral. That isn't an invitation to limit yourself to a plain white tee. Opt for black, grey, navy, beige or blush, to name a few. Bonus points if you pick a top with a cute detail or graphic.

Print it up

Remember all those spring florals, summer stripes and awesome animal prints you've got saved up? If they work well with your blue denim, they'll look fab with your hot red jeans.

Coordinating colors

Contrast is key. When it comes to bright jeans, the bolder the outfit, the better it looks. Be sure to pair your jeans with tops and accessories from the same color palate (think: summer neons with other neons and fall subdued tones with other subdued tones). They don't have to match; they just have to go together.

Gear up

It's football season: What better way to get pumped for the big game than sporting your team's colors, whether it's pro, college or even your own school. Go big and rock your spirited jeans with a jersey, or skip the mascot and logos and pair it with a solid tee. Score!
