The one thing your beauty routine is missing
If you've never used argan oil in your beauty routine, you are *seriously* missing out. Known as liquid gold, argan oil is the holy grail for your skin, hair and everything in between. Its popularity amongst celebrities proves how beneficial it is—and we've rounded up all the ways you can try it for yourself at home. Hello, shiny strands and smooth-as-silk skin!
For your hair: Argan oil is commonly used by stylists to tame frizz and restore dry and damaged hair. Look for a deep conditioning mask that uses the special ingredient—use it once or twice a week, depending on how dry your strands are. Apply to clean, wet hair then leave on for about ten minutes before rinsing out. We love the Hask Blue Chamomile & Argan Oil collection for color-treated tresses in particular to help prevent further breakage and replenish your roots.
For your skin: Whether you have dry or oily skin, argan oil is the perfect way to score mega moisture. Filled with healthy vitamin E, it will hydrate your skin without leaving an oily residue. The best time to use it? Right after you get out of the shower or before bed. Rub in a small amount all over for glowy skin.
For your face: We all sometimes suffer from redness or dry patches on our face. Argan oil is an awesome natural moisturizer that can help reduce inflammation for clearer skin because it has antioxidants that heal damaged skin cells. It's also light enough that it won't clog your pores but is still super hydrating. You can use it in the morning or at night—just massage a few drops into your skin after washing your face with your usual cleanser.
For your lips: Suffering from dry, cracked lips is the worst (especially in the winter) but "liquid gold" will solve that sitch. Replace your go-to lip balm with organic argan oil and use whenever your pout is feeling less than perfect. Just remember that a little goes a long way.
