Your 5-step guide to the no-makeup makeup look
Mask it
The start to a no-makeup look is a flawless complexion. We reccomend using some lightweight foundation, like Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream to cover blemishes and discoloration. If you need more coverage, use a little of your favorite concealer around problem areas.
Add some color
Since most of us have not had much sun (thanks, winter), you may need a little color to get that healthy glow. Using a light blush or bronzer (preferably two shades darker than your skin tone), lightly dab your brush and then apply a small amount right below your cheekbones. Tip: Create a kissy face and move your brush from your dimple to right under your cheekbone. Continue to move your brush back and forth until you have a subtle glow.
Finish it off
The last step to looking naturally flawless is filing in the brows and lashes and adding a final touch of gloss. Using an eyebrow pencil that matches your hair color, like MAC's Eyebrow Pencil, lightly fill your brows and brush them smooth. Then, paint on some clear mascara like CoverGirl's Professional Natural Lash Mascara. Swipe on some nude lipgloss (as close to your natural lip color as possible—we love Ulta's Butter Balm in Anya) and you're done!
