If you have a dress with an amazing open back or beautiful beading, this topknot is perfect for you! Start by putting your hair in a ponytail, and then pull sections at the top of your crown to give it a looser look. Using a bun maker, roll your hair into a ballet bun. If it turns out a little too perfect, pull a few pieces of the bun to give it a messier look. Top off the look with a flower pin and some hairspray and you are good to go!

Sleek & chic
This topknot is perfect if you want to focus more on your outfit but still add a little spunk to your hairstyle. For this darling ‘do, gather your hair on the top of your head and begin twisting it all in the same direction. Once the twist is tight enough, begin wrapping the hair around itself until you’ve created a little bun. Secure with bobby pins and hairspray to make sure it lasts all day.

Wrapped and ready
The beauty of topknots is that they are an easy yet trendy way to get your hair out of your face. To get this look, start by gathering your hair in a high ponytail and securing it with an elastic. Using a brush or teasing comb, backcomb the part of the pony that is closest to your head to add a little extra volume. Grab the pony and start twisting it around the base of the ponytail. Secure with an elastic and bobby pins and finish with hairspray.
