4 ways to tame your summer frizz

Throughout the entire school year, we all crave the easy, carefree nature of summer. With no more homework and stress, summer is the time for us to relax and have fun. And while our minds and bodies are always more than ready to chill, there is one thing that simply refuses to calm down: our hair. Amidst the pervasive heat and humidity, it can be nearly impossible for us to tame the frizz that plagues our usual ’do. Below, we’ve compiled our best tips to tame summer frizz and restore those luscious locks.
1.  Super serum
If you usually straighten your hair, try using a blow dryer to blow it straight rather than a flat iron. Then, whip out the flat iron to fix the pieces you previously missed. When you are finished, use a frizz serum to keep your hair shiny and frizz-free.

2. Beachy braids

If you want a more natural look, use the braid technique. After you shower, comb your hair, run a dollop of anti-frizz crème through your hair and then braid it. Leave it in a braid until it dries completely. Once your hair is dry, take it out of the braid for frizz-free waves that are beachy and natural looking.

3. A new take on hat-hair

For an easy frizz fix, throw your hair into a pony and put on your favorite baseball cap for an effortlessly cute, frizz-free look. So sporty-chic!

4. Helpful hairspray

Another trick to beat the frizz is to use hairspray. Before heading out, make sure your hair is completely dry and spray a strong hold hairspray on your roots. Using your hands, brush out your hair and smooth the frizz down. This quick solution will have you frizz-free and ready for fun!
