Meet Karina Pasian, the new voice of girl power! She’s 16, but has been singing since she was 7 and playing piano for even longer (since she was 3!). Her first album First Love hit stores on August 19.
She currently studies music and voice at the High School of Professional Performing Arts in New York. She has performed at the “We Are the World” charity concert and the White House. And as if all that wasn’t impressive enough, Karina speaks seven languages! (We know, whoa.)
Can you imagine meeting such an amazing girl?! Wouldn’t you love to talk to her about her experiences and inspirations? Well now you can! Karina has teamed up with Girl Scouts to show girls that anything is possible through the “Anything is Possible” essay contest. All you have to do is submit an essay online of what the term “Anything is Possible” means to you.
The winner will get the chance to meet Karina at the 2008 Girl Scout National Convention in Indianapolis.
