My best friend and I were hanging out at the mall when my crush showed
up. We were always talking in the hallway and texting, sometimes for
hours. But when I went up to go say hi he said, "Do I know you?" right in
front of all his friends. As if that weren't enough, when his friends
were in line for food he came up to me and said, "Sorry, but I can't let
them know I'm friends with you. You totally get it right?" Then he walked
away. I haven't talked to him since.
