Here’s your back-to-school shopping list for virtual learning
The best part about the back-to-school season, you ask? Back-to-school shopping, of course! We all remember those late summer days spent at Target getting the *cutest* pencils, notebooks and crayons (even though we knew we weren't going to need them.) While that's something you can still happily enjoy with a mask, your list is going to need some tweaking. Here's everything you need to start off a new school year of virtual learning.
Headphones
With pets, siblings and noisy roads outside your window, it can be rare to have a moment of silence long enough to get through your homework or a Zoom call without disruption. Get a pair of reliable headphones like these to better hear your classmates or jam out to the perfect playlist for optimal productivity.
Comfy desk chair
Even though you're home for your schooling, you're going to be sitting for the majority of the day attending lessons and doing work like you normally would. That’s why it is so important that you get a chair that will make you equal parts comfy and productive. Try to avoid constantly working on a bed or couch to best simulate a stimulating classroom environment.
Wall calendar
During times of fast and constant change, flexibility and patience are key. Even if you're not a huge fan of planners, having a calendar like this one will make it super easy for you to jot down quick questions you have for your teacher, due dates or meetings that got rescheduled.
Desk organizer
With tons of print-outs and scrap-papers full of complicated math problems, your space can get cluttered really fast. Make your desk #girlboss ready with this rose gold desk organizer from Amazon. We don't know what it is about cute office supplies, but for some reason it's the ultimate form of homework motivation.
Expansion Binder
Save money on a book bag this year with this literally all-in-one binder. Keep everything together with a built-in multi-subject folder, pencil case, and notebook. Plus there’s space for those necessary knick knacks you hate searching through your bag for like post-its, highlights and paperclips.
Affirmation wall art
A perk to being home for the year is that you get to completely cultivate your leaning space to your liking. Focusing can be difficult in general, so we can imagine how challenging this year may be when everything happening in the world is so distracting. Renovate a small work corner for yourself, and add in a poster or collage that inspires you to keep pushing through these obstacles. Give yourself little reminders of what exactly your working towards, why your putting in this time and effort into your studies.
