Do you and your BFF say "I love you"?

There’s no doubt that we cannot live without our best friends. They’re our go-to girls and guys, whether we’re experiencing a minor meltdown or a major life crisis. Of course we love ‘em no matter what...but are we letting them know that we do? Five girls chatted about saying those three little words to their BFF.

“Me and my BFF say ‘I love you’ to each other all the time. It’s always good to remind them that you’ve got their back through thick and thin.” – Emily, 15

“I barely say ‘I love you’ to my parents, so why would I say it to my best friend? We care about each other, but we don’t say it.” – Ami, 14

“Me and my BGF don’t say ‘I love you’ to each other. We used to date each other, but now we’re better off as besties. Not saying it makes it clear that we’re just friends.” – Taylor, 16

“I think it’s more important to show you love your bestie than to say it. Actions totally speak louder than words, and I’m always there for my best friend, whether she’s sick or going through a breakup.” – Nadia, 17

“My BFF and I never said ‘I love you’. But when I found out my parents were getting a divorce, my bestie shot me a text saying she loved me and it let me know she cared. We might not say ‘I love you’ all the time, but we say it when we need it the most.” – Samantha, 14
