Five ways to change your life for the better like rn
Hi, is anyone else out there feeling like 2025 has lasted 14 months already? Yeah, same. We know it's barely this year is three months in but if we're all gonna make it to New Year's Eve, it's time for a hard reset. Chillier, happier vibes right this way…
1. Prioritize your health
Whether it's drinking three Owala's a day or going to bed a little earlier, prioritizing your own health is *always* a great start. Set reminders throughout the day to ensure you remember to to take care of yourself (that means eating well, getting sleep, moving your body and doing something restorative like talking a friend, snuggling with your cat or reading a good book). Need more ideas on how to start? Here are five things you can do tonight for a better tomorrow.
2. Set goals
To-do lists will *change* your life—especially if you make them every day. Every morning, make a list of all the things you need and want to get done throughout the day. Complete one of your goals? Highlight it with a pretty color. The more you highlight, the more productive you will feel.
3. Surround yourself with positive people
So simple but so true. Being around positive influences makes you positive in turn. You deserve to be happy, but that is difficult to do when surrounded by negativity. Find some optimistic people to hang with and unlock your inner golden retriever energy.
4. Ditch your comfort zone
Let's be real: your comfort zone will only hold your back. Sometimes, you have to go for the things you want before you give your mind a chance to overthink. So, whether you are contemplating trying out for field hockey or running for class council, now is the time. Get on out there, babe.
5. Find the positive
Reframing is *everything.* Looking for the good may be easier said than done, but it is one of the biggest changes you can make in your life. Failed a test you crammed *all* night for? Now you know you need to plan out smaller study seshes over the course the week if you want to snag that A. The idea isn't that you aren't supposed to make mistakes but that you learn the lesson from them—and that knowledge helps to build a brighter outlook.
