Fact or fiction: Your nipples itch when your boobs grow
I’ve heard that when your boobs
are growing, your nipples itch. Is that true?
This one falls somewhere between fact and fiction. When your breast tissue is growing, you might feel a little sore or tender to the touch. They can also feel itchy because your skin is stretching to accommodate the larger size of the underlying tissue. So yes, your nipples might be itchy while your boobs are growing.
But…your nipples could be itchy for
other reasons, too. Things like scratchy fabric, an allergy to your
laundry detergent or super dry skin. Take a peek at your boobs. If
your nipples look red and irritated, try wearing softer clothes and
rubbing some moisturizer into the dry skin after you shower.
