People are talking about me
Every time I turn around there is someone talking bad about me. I’m worried that they’re talking about my looks. I have small boobs, pimples on my forehead, wear glasses and my hair is unmanageable. Is this bad for an eighth grader?
I know a lot of people feel like other people are talking about them behind their back -- I've felt that way too before. The truth is, most people you think might be talking about you probably aren't. The people who actually are talking about you probably are not worth your time, and you'd be better off ignoring them and anything they might say about you.
And don't worry so much about looks, girlie. Eighth grade is a totally awkward time for a lot of people (I had glasses, braces and frizzy hair!), but I promise people are not judging you as much as you think they are. Focus on the good things about yourself and try to hang with people who can see those qualities in you too.
Xoxo,
Alissa
