I have hair on my upper lip!
I know most girls have hair on their upper lip, but mine is really noticeable. I feel insecure about it, and I want it gone. How can I get rid of it for good?
You’re right—every girl has some lip fluff. Just how much growth you’ve got depends on your genetics and ethnicity. But you can quickly eliminate lip hair by tweezing, waxing or bleaching regularly (just don’t shave—that’s way too harsh for the sensitive skin on your face). Or go to a pro—most salons offer waxing for about 10 bucks.
Want a more permanent fix? Electrolysis (a process using tiny amounts of electricity to kill individual hair follicles) gets rid of fuzz forever, but it’s also super expensive. And see your doc if you think your case is really outta control. Excess facial hair can be a sign of a rare hormonal imbalance that prescription meds will fix.
