You can (and should) order these healthy alternatives to your fave drink at Starbs
Everyone loves Starbucks (even our girl Bethany Mota!), but it’s not always the best idea to order a venti Frappuccino with extra whip. Here are a few of the healthier alternatives to guide you through the difficult decision-making so you can stay hyrdated, healthy *and* happy.
Caramel Light Frappuccino: With nonfat milk and no whip, this all-time favorite clocks in at 140 calories and 29 grams of sugar for a 16 oz. grande. It tastes just as yummy as the regular caramel frappuccino, but your tummy will thank you later.
Skinny Vanilla Latte (iced or hot): A vanilla latte at Starbucks is a classic; ask for nonfat milk and you’ll only be consuming 150 calories, 27 grams of sugar, and 9 grams of protein—does this mean we can have a SVL (skinny vanilla latte) for brekkie???
Teavana Iced Passion Tango Tea: This vibrant tea is not only a beautiful hue of red, but is also a refreshing upgrade to your water bottle. For a grande Iced Passion Tango Tea, it is only 45 calories and 11 grams of sugar!
Mocha Light Frappuccino: This delish combo of mocha sauce, coffee and nonfat milk will surely put a smile on your face. For only 110 calories and 21 grams of sugar for a tall, why not?!
Iced coffee: Without milk or sugar, this drink comes to <5 calories, but even if you add a splash of both, this cool drink will remain under 100 calories (depending upon how much you add).
Caffé Americano (iced or hot): It sounds fancy, but this drink contains shots of espresso combined with water, adding up to only 10 calories and absolutely no sugar (if you choose to drink it ‘black’).
