Everyone knows salads are an awesome way to eat right but after a while, nothing but grilled chicken and green takes its toll.

Here are five new combos that’ll give a fresh and tasty twist on your everyday salad.

    Sweet ‘n’ Savory Chopped Salad

    This tasty combo (who doesn’t love a little sweet and crunchy) fills ya up while stayin’ healthy. Chop up romaine and chicken then add pears, dried cranberries, pecans, a little bit of crumbled bacon and feta cheese. Finish off with some poppy seed dressing combined with a hint of balsamic vinaigrette.

    Fruity Romaine Salad

    Only one word can be used to describe this salad: delicious. Just combine lettuce, apples, pears blueberries and mozzarella cheese with this amazing onion and poppy-seed dressing.

    Triple Berry Salad

    Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries…oh my! Combine spinach, your favorite fruits, (we used strawberries, blueberries and raspberries) toasted almonds, basil, avocado and goat cheese with strawberry balsamic vinegar dressing on top.

    Macaroni Salad

    Not one for leafy salads? Pasta salad can sometimes be a mayonnaise-y calorie/fat bomb but this version is light and fresh. Cook and chill a box of ditalini pasta then add peas, bacon and this amazing lemon-thyme dressing. Yes, homemade dressing takes an extra sec but this one adds an irresistible little tang to this dish.

    Shaved Broccoli Salad
