In the News: Teen violence linked to heavy soda consumption

You may want to start watching how much soda you're consuming, girl, and how much those around you are too. New studies have shown that teens consuming more than 14 cans of soda a week (that's just two per day!) have become more violent and are at higher risk for acting out among peers and parents. Just think: By cutting back on the fizzy stuff you may be able to cut back on the drama in your life. Crazy, right?

This week, breitbart.com posted that researchers have recently discovered the connection between carbonated sodas and rising teen violence. It was proven that teens who drink large amounts of soda every week were 9-15% more likely to engage in aggressive or violent behavior. Pretty scary to think that soda could be the root cause of your school¹s latest catfight.

Due to the recent findings, many more studies will be held in order to find out which sodas have a higher risk of violence when consumed. We'll keep ya posted when we know which sips are the worst for you and your friends.

Do you think soda makes ya go bananas? Blog it out, babes.
