Shoveled to a Stop

During my school's talent show, I was waiting in the art room for the show to end. My crush and I were flirting and "fighting" over a shovel one group used as a prop. We were tugging on it and I could feel it slipping. I was about to tell him to stop, when BANG! The top of the metal shovel went right into his bottom lip! Not only did I feel horrible, but he had to miss his turn in the talent show to go to the ER and get stitches! Let's just say I haven't spoken to him since!
