My mom always packs my lunch and always gives me a can of root beer. At our school, if you don't have enough money for lunch or get in trouble, you have to push the garbage can around to the other tables so people can throw their stuff away. Since my friends, and me Miranda and Alyssa always sit at the table in the corners, the can never comes around to us. The three of us got up with our lunches and walked across the cafeteria to where the kid pushing the garbage can was. His name was Matt and he was the most popular eighth grader at school. First, Miranda dumped her sandwich into the bin, and then Alyssa dumped her salad. I finished by dropping my half-full can of pop. Unfortunately, I dropped it from too high up and when it hit Alyssa's salad, a huge spray of lettuce and root beer sprayed poor Matt in the face and chest. I told him I was sorry, and then Miranda, Alyssa, and I ran for it. He still gives me horrified looks during lunch.
